How does it work?
Qlockwork talks to your PC's keyboard, mouse and screen and considers every 5 minutes of your day.

the 5 minutes as working on that single task.
- Did you spend it on various tasks with a theme,
like reviewing emails in your Inbox? If so, Qlockwork counts the 5 minutes as working on that theme
(Inbox review, for example).
- Did you spend most of it away from your computer, not using the keyboard or mouse?
If so, Qlockwork counts the time as "away".

Qlockwork, Time Tracking and Timesheets
Qlockwork can be used on its own, or you can use it to make your existing
timesheet system easier and more accurate.
Using Qlockwork with your existing timesheet system
To use Qlockwork in conjunction with your existing timesheet system:
- Install Qlockwork, but continue to use your existing timesheet.
- Update your timesheet as normal, but use Qlockwork's highly accurate data to
remind you what you did, when and for how long.
By using Qlockwork to enhance your existing solution, you can ensure you don't lose
billable time just because you forgot to hit a timer.
Using Qlockwork standalone
To use Qlockwork standalone:
- Install Qlockwork on your PC.
- Enter a list of the projects you want to track, which could be associated with
particular customers, or could be internal projects.
- Enter key words or people you associate with those projects.
- If they match the key words or people, your daily activities will now be associated with these
projects; you can produce reports on any time period, telling you how long you worked
on any particular project.
